Description

AndCoat Epoxy Coal Tar is a 2 pack, heavy duty anti-corrosive and protective coating for iron and steel, non-ferrous metals and for other types of constructional materials such as concrete, bricks, timber etc. It’s designed to resist chemical attack and rigorous weather conditions by combining the outstanding properties of epoxy with those of coal tar. Thick coatings can be built up with minimum labour costs, each being 5 to 10 times as thick as normal paint finishes.

This product can be applied under almost any conditions under which it is reasonable to work. Ideal for areas which are immersed in water and sea water soon after application. Proficiently protects steel and concrete in exposed and submerged conditions, especially jetties, narrow boats, steel piles and barges.

In practice, Epoxy Coal Tar has been found to cure at temperatures as low as O°C.
