Ordering Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all orders placed with us — whether online, over the phone, or in person. By placing an order, you agree to these conditions in full. Please read carefully before purchasing.

Placing an Order

Orders can be placed via our website, by telephone, or through written communication. Once you have completed the checkout process online or confirmed an order over the phone, you will receive an email confirming receipt. This does not constitute acceptance.

A legally binding contract is only formed when:

  • We deliver the goods to you, or

  • You receive the goods in person.

We reserve the right to decline any order without explanation. If your order is declined after payment, a full refund will be issued immediately.

Online Order Process

When ordering online:

  • Browse and select your product

  • Follow the checkout process, checking for any input errors

  • Confirm your order by clicking “Place order and pay”

We aim to keep all product listings accurate and up to date, but availability and pricing may change. If an issue arises, we will contact you promptly.

Order Status Updates

We will keep you informed at every stage of your order:

  • Pending – Awaiting processing

  • Processing – Being packed or manufactured

  • Dispatched – Shipped and with the carrier

  • Part Dispatched – Order split; balance pending

  • Back Order – Out of stock, awaiting replenishment

Age Restrictions

Under UK law, it is a criminal offence to sell aerosol paints to individuals under 16. Similarly, we do not knowingly sell acids or strong alkalis to anyone under 18.

By purchasing from our site, you confirm that:

  • You are over 18, or

  • You are not purchasing on behalf of someone under 18.

Availability & Stock

While we aim to keep items in stock and dispatch within 1-4 working days, some products are made to order or sourced from third-party manufacturers, which may cause delays.

  • Stock status shown on the site is indicative, not live.

  • For urgent orders or collections, please call ahead to confirm stock availability.

We will part-ship orders where possible.

Product Information & Specification

We continuously improve our products, and specifications may change without notice. Always refer to the Technical Data Sheet (TDS) or Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

  • Delivery charges are calculated at checkout

  • Prices may vary due to sales or special offers

  • Sale or discounted items are non-refundable

Bulk and trade pricing is available — contact us for custom quotes.

We accept most major payment methods. All online payments are securely processed via SagePay/Shopify Payments

Delivery

Goods are delivered to the address provided during checkout.

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed

  • Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery

  • We recommend ordering well in advance of any scheduled work

We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, weather, or third parties. Please do not schedule painters or contractors until you have received your goods and confirmed accuracy.

Proof of delivery (POD) must be requested within 7 days of dispatch.

Some items (e.g. Zinga, PPG, Bollom, AndCoat, Thermoguard) are made to order and may have longer lead times.

Returns & Refunds

You may return eligible goods in their original condition within 7 days of delivery. Returns are subject to:

  • Prior approval and a returns reference number

  • A handling charge of 15% to 50%, depending on the product and supplier

  • Goods must be unopened, unused, and in saleable condition

  • Original delivery costs are non-refundable

  • Returns are at your own cost — we recommend using a tracked, insured service

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on the following:

  • Tinted or mixed paints made to your specification

  • Opened or used items (including aerosols)

  • Fire-resistant or intumescent coatings

  • Sale items or orders placed with discount codes

If you're unsure whether your item is returnable, please call us before ordering.

Colour Accuracy & Testing

Please check and test all colours upon receipt. We strongly recommend testing a small sample in the intended environment before full application.

  • Colour appearance can vary due to lighting, surface texture or application method

  • No refunds can be given once a tinted or mixed product has been used

  • Any discrepancies must be reported before use

Once applied, we cannot offer replacements or refunds unless the issue was flagged prior to use.

Damaged or Defective Goods

Inspect all goods upon delivery. If damaged:

  • Report within 24 hours

  • Retain photographic evidence

  • Do not use the product

Once damaged goods have been partially used, they are considered accepted.

We will replace or refund damaged items once confirmed. Carrier responsibility ends after 24 hours, so please act quickly.

Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Law)

Under UK law, you may cancel your order if:

  • The item has not yet been shipped or processed

  • You notify us within a reasonable time frame

Cancellations must be made via phone or email.

Note: Custom-made products are excluded from cancellation rights.

Calls & Communication

Calls may be recorded for order verification and dispute resolution only. Calls are not used for training or third-party purposes.

Placing a telephone order confirms your acceptance of these terms.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased. We do not accept responsibility for:

  • Labour costs

  • Losses from delayed or incorrect orders

  • Repainting, prep work, or project delays

Testing and verifying suitability of products before use is the buyer's responsibility.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled under UK jurisdiction.
