Rust-Oleum Noxyde Plus – High-Performance Elastic Anti-Corrosion Coating
Rust-Oleum Noxyde Plus is a highly flexible, single-pack water-based elastomeric coating designed for maximum adhesion and superior corrosion protection. Based on a silane-modified acrylic binder, this advanced formulation delivers a 200% elastic coat that won’t crack or peel, even under extreme movement. It offers excellent coverage of complex areas such as nuts, bolts, and welds, and features dry fall properties to minimize overspray clean-up. Ideal for protecting steel and other metal substrates, it's lead, chromate, and zinc free, making it safer for both users and the environment.
Key Features:
-
Superior Adhesion to metal and difficult substrates
 -
200% Elasticity – Resists cracking and peeling
 -
Dry Fall Formula – Reduces prep and cleanup time
 -
Exceptional Coverage – Especially around bolts, welds, and fasteners
 -
One Pack Water-Based System – Easy to apply, no mixing required
 -
Low Dirt Pick-Up – Maintains clean appearance longer
 -
Zinc-, Lead- & Chromate-Free – Safer, more eco-friendly formulation

Surface preparation
Remove grease, oil and all other surface contaminations by alkaline or high pressure
(steam) cleaning (max. 200 Bars) in combination with appropriate detergents. The
substrate has to be dust free and made rust free by means of sandblasting (Sa2), manual
cleaning (St2) or high pressure water jetting (min. 600 Bars). After jetting, the substrate
has to be dust free. On new galvanised surfaces, new zinc, aluminium, stainless steel,
apply first a coat of Pegalink or PVDF Primer. On ferrous substrates, apply Noxyde Plus in
red or grey as the first coat. In all instances apply contrasting Noxyde Plus colours for
subsequent layers.
