Surface Preparation

Steel & Ferrous Metals

Remove all rust, mill scale, oxidation, contamination, and loose material. Thoroughly degrease using AndCoat Silicone Remover before application.

Zinc & Galvanised Steel

Clean using an alkaline ammonia-based zinc cleaner to remove contaminants and ensure optimum adhesion.

Aluminium

Clean thoroughly, abrade the surface where required, and degrease using AndCoat Silicone Remover before coating.

Concrete & Mineral Surfaces

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, sound, and free from dust, laitance, oils, grease, and contaminants prior to application.

Application Conditions

  • Apply at temperatures above +10°C
  • Relative humidity should not exceed 80%
  • Substrate temperature must remain above +10°C

For palletised orders — including those containing dangerous goods - we work with independent specialist freight companies experienced in compliant global hazardous materials transport.
Due to the nature of these shipments, pricing and transit times are provided on a case‑by‑case basis.
