Zinsser WaterTite is a high-performance waterproofing paint, guaranteed to keep water out. Its advanced solvent-based formula combines a waterproofing resin with Portland cement, creating a tough barrier that resists up to 34psi of water pressure – stronger than most competing systems.
Unlike standard waterproofers, WaterTite can be applied directly onto dry, damp or wet masonry surfaces, curing water problems instantly without waiting for walls to dry out. It dries to a smooth, non-gritty, bright white finish that resists dirt and dust pickup, keeping basements, foundations and masonry surfaces looking clean and fresh.
Formulated with ultra low odour, WaterTite® is ideal for interior and exterior projects above or below ground level. It also prevents recurring efflorescence on concrete and brickwork, giving long-lasting protection against water ingress and surface degradation.

Surface Preparation

Ensure surfaces are sound and free from loose material, dust, grease or contamination.

Remove existing coatings or paints where adhesion may be compromised.

Treat efflorescence and salt deposits with a stiff brush.

Fill cracks and defects with a suitable repair mortar or filler.

Can be applied directly onto damp or wet surfaces – no need to wait for drying.

Directions for Use

Stir thoroughly before use – do not thin.

Apply directly to clean, prepared masonry using a brush or roller.

First coat must be brushed well into the substrate to ensure full penetration.

Allow 4 hours before recoating.

Apply at least 2 coats for maximum waterproofing performance.

On highly porous surfaces, additional coats may be required.

Protect from frost during application and curing.
