  • Lightwork of heavy-duty repairs
  • Structural strength solutions

AndSeal DPM is a high-performance, two-pack epoxy resin system designed as a surface-applied damp proof membrane for concrete floors. It is specifically formulated to suppress residual moisture in new or existing concrete, allowing floor coatings or coverings to be installed without the risk of failure.

Ideal for use in industrial, commercial and public sector environments, AndSeal DPM provides an effective barrier against moisture vapour transmission and helps prevent blistering, delamination and other floor coating issues caused by rising damp.

With excellent adhesion, durability and chemical resistance, it is the perfect preparation layer for epoxy, polyurethane and other high-performance floor systems.

Surface Preparation

  • Concrete must be at least 7 days old and have a maximum moisture content of 97% RH.

  • Remove laitance, weak or friable material by mechanical preparation (e.g. diamond grinding, shot blasting, vacuum blasting).

  • Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, dust and other contaminants.

  • Vacuum all residues before application.

  • Repair cracks, holes or surface imperfections prior to coating.

  • Do not acid etch.

Suggested Topcoats

AndSeal DPM is a high-performance damp proof membrane designed to control residual moisture within concrete substrates prior to the application of resin flooring and protective coating systems. Formulated to provide excellent adhesion and moisture suppression, AndSeal DPM helps prevent coating failure caused by rising moisture and allows earlier overcoating of new concrete. For a complete protective system, AndSeal DPM is recommended for use with the AndCoat range of protective topcoats, including AndCoat HBAndCoat HB LT and AndCoat HB PU. These systems provide excellent chemical resistance, abrasion protection and long-term surface durability across a wide range of industrial environments.
