Removing old silicone and sealant can be one of those jobs that takes far longer than it should. Krud Kutter Caulk & Sealant Remover is designed to soften stubborn caulks and sealants, making them easier to scrape away before resealing, repairing or redecorating.
The light gel formula clings to the surface and stays wet for longer, giving it time to work on silicone, polyurethane and acrylic caulks as well as polyurethane foam sealant. It can be used on both fresh and dried material, making it equally handy for cleaning up a recent job or tackling old, discoloured sealant that's been in place for years.
It's particularly useful around showers, baths, sinks and worktops where old silicone needs to be removed before a fresh bead is applied. The versatile formula can also be used on skirting boards, trim, vinyl flooring and a variety of common surfaces including stainless steel, wood, glass, porcelain, marble and stone.

Surface preparation
Before applying the remover, cut away and scrape off as much of the existing caulk or sealant as reasonably possible. Removing the bulk of a thick silicone bead first allows the product to work directly on the stubborn material and residue left behind.
Ensure the area is free from loose dirt and debris. When treating delicate, coated or unfamiliar surfaces, always test a small inconspicuous area first to check compatibility.
Once the old sealant has been completely removed, thoroughly clean the surface and allow it to dry before applying new silicone, caulk, paint or another decorative finish.

Directions for Use
Remove as much of the old caulk or sealant as possible using a suitable scraper or sealant removal tool before applying Krud Kutter Caulk & Sealant Remover.
Apply the product directly to the remaining sealant and residue. Its light gel consistency helps the remover cling to the affected area and remain wet for longer while it works to soften stubborn material.
Once the sealant has softened, carefully scrape it away from the substrate. Thick, old or particularly stubborn material may require further treatment.
Repeat the process where necessary until the unwanted sealant and residue have been removed. Clean the treated area thoroughly afterwards and allow it to dry completely before applying replacement caulk, silicone or another coating.
Always carry out a small test application first when working on delicate or unfamiliar surfaces.

Pallet Shipments (Including Dangerous Goods)
For palletised orders — including those containing dangerous goods - we work with independent specialist freight companies experienced in compliant global hazardous materials transport.
Due to the nature of these shipments, pricing and transit times are provided on a case‑by‑case basis.
