Blackfriar Anti-Climb Paint – Thick, Non-Drying Security Coating

Blackfriar Anti-Climb Paint is a thick, non-drying coating designed to deter intruders on surfaces such as parapets, ledges, downcomers, pipes, gutters, window sills, fencing, and walls. Its slippery finish makes surfaces virtually unclimbable while leaving marks on hands and clothing for added security.

Surface Preparation

Ensure the surface to be painted is sound, clean and dry. Scrape off any old or flaking paint until you have a firm surface. Porous surfaces should be sealed with Blackfriar Professional Solvent Based Floor Sealer. Bare steel after cleaning should be given one coat of Blackfriar Red Oxide Zinc Phosphate Primer. Plastic downcomers should be roughened by rubbing with medium grade abrasive paper

Directions for Use

Apply liberally with a stiff brush or lambs wool mitt. On bare or new surfaces first apply Blackfriar Professional Solvent Based Floor Sealer followed by 1 coat of Blackfriar Professional Anti-Climb Paint. On previously painted surfaces apply 1 coat as required. Only apply to areas not subject to legitimate daily contact usually limited to areas above 6 feet. Blackfriar Professional Anti-Climb Paint works best on surfaces or in areas below 35°C. The product will attract a surface layer of dust but this will not affect performance
