Surface Preparation
New concrete, plastered or brick surfaces should cure and dry for at least 30 days prior to
the application of coatings. Remove grease, oil and all other surface contaminations by
alkaline or high pressure (steam) cleaning. Wash total surface with plenty of fresh/warm
water or high pressure (steam) cleaning in order to remove all remnants of contamination
and cleaners ND14 or FK111. Sand previous coatings, which are in good condition to
remove gloss and to roughen the surface slightly. Remove non-adhering old coatings. The
surface must be clean and dry during application.
