Dilution for Keim Royalan, reacts chemically with the surface. The product comprises of liquid potassium silicate and stabilisers. Used to consolidate friable surfaces as a binder coat and as dilution for KEIM Royalan and KEIM Royalan Grob, and for equalisation or reduction of the absorbency of mineral substrates.

Preparation & Application
Substrate Preparation
All loose, flaking and unstable material must be identified and then thoroughly removed, all surfaces must be thoroughly washed down with clean cold water to remove all surface dirt and dust. When all surfaces are clean, sound, wind dry, dust free and free from all surface contaminants, decoration using Keim Mineral Paints may proceed.
Application
For pre-treating highly absorbent substrates, apply Keim Royalan Dilution undiluted with a brush and work well into all surfaces. For diluting Keim Royalan and Keim Royalan Grob, See Keim Royalan/Grob Technical Data Sheets
Application Conditions
Ambient and substrate temperature above 5°C and below 30°C. Do not apply in direct sunlight or onto sun-heated surfaces, nor if it is raining or if there is an immediate likelihood of rain.
Consumption
Depending upon the absorbency of the surface, approx. 0.15lt/m². For use as a dilutant for Keim Royalan/Grob products please refer to product data sheets. Consumption rates are offered for guideline purposes only and are quoted for smooth rendered surfaces. Actual rates are the responsibility of the applicator. Clean with water immediately after use.
