Teamac Bilge Paint is a tough, single-pack coating designed to protect bilges, lockers and bulkheads from moisture, abrasion and fuel or oil spills.

Formulated for use below deck, it creates a hardwearing, high-gloss finish that’s easy to clean and resistant to everyday marine wear and tear.

Suitable for aluminium, steel, wood and GRP, Bilge Paint provides both long-term protection and a smart, professional appearance inside your vessel.

Surface Preparation

All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil, rust or loose material.

Steel: Prime with Teamac Zinc Phosphate Metal Primer.

Wood: Prime with Teamac Wood Primer.

GRP: Can be applied directly to clean, abraded surfaces.

Previously Painted Areas: Remove flaking paint, clean thoroughly, and abrade to create a key before recoating.

Directions for Use

Mix well before and during use.

Apply by brush, roller, or spray.

If needed, thin up to 10% with Teamac Thinners 14.

Apply evenly at 85 µm WFT / 35–40 µm DFT.

Touch dry: 2 hours @ 20 °C.

Recoat: After 8 hours or overnight.

Avoid applying in cold, damp or humid conditions. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
