Mathys Dac Hydro Plus is a flexible, water-based acrylic roof coating designed for the renovation and protection of concrete roof tiles. With no need for a special primer, it offers a cost-effective, quick, and easy-to-apply solution that delivers lasting gloss, colour retention, and strong weather resistance. Rain-proof in just 2 hours, Dac Hydro Plus is ideal for fast-turnaround jobs, offering low odour and excellent coverage of up to 10m² per litre.

Surface preparation

After a good cleaning with pure water under high pressure (200 bars), all substrates have
to be dry, clean, not chalking and normally absorbent (untreated roof tiles). Apply an anti
fungicidal solution such as AMW fungicidal Wash for removal of moss, etc. Recommended
primers for substrate:
Concrete: no primer required
Eternit/fibre cement: use Dac Hydro Pro
Slate tiles: Primer 44HS or Pegafix
Terracotta tiles, concrete tiles type Redland, fully weathered and/or very porous: Primer
44HS
Very dense substrates: Noxyde diluted with 25% volume water
It is recommended to always perform an adhesion test.
