Coo-Var patent knotting is a low viscosity shellac based product. Apply it to wooden surfaces to prevent bleed from coming through when a subsequent topcoat is applied. It has a translucent brown finish.
This product has a low viscosity, which makes it easy to apply, and easier to get a level finish. Use it when painting woods that have knotting or potential bleeding that could effect the final topcoat.
