Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Satin is a premium, water-based exterior paint formulated to deliver a tough, weather-resistant satin finish across virtually any surface. Ideal for wood, metal, masonry, UPVC, plastic, concrete and cladding, this all-in-one solution offers a smooth, low-sheen finish with outstanding colour retention.
The satin sheen provides a modern, subtle finish that enhances the natural character of surfaces without the high glare of gloss. Breathable and flexible, AllCoat Satin allows moisture vapour to escape, helping prevent cracking, flaking and blistering - even in harsh UK weather. It also contains a built-in biocide to protect against mould, algae and fungal growth.
No primer required - this paint adheres directly to most previously painted or glossy surfaces without the need for sanding. Just clean, apply and enjoy a low-maintenance, long-lasting finish with up to 15 years performance.

Surface Preparation
-
Surfaces must be clean, dry, sound and free of dust, oil, grease, chalk or loose paint.
 -
Remove all loose and peeling paint and sand back rough edges.
 -
If painted before 1960, surfaces may contain lead – avoid inhaling dust and wear PPE.
 -
Allow new concrete, render or masonry to cure for at least 30 days before painting.
 -
Treat any existing mould or mildew with Zinsser Mould Killer & Remover.
 -
Ensure surface is dry and substrate moisture is below 12%.
 -
Spot prime knots with Zinsser B-I-N®, and resinous woods with Cover Stain®.
 -
Bare ferrous metal should be primed with an anti-corrosive metal primer.
 -
Abrade and degrease powder-coated or glossy surfaces.
 -
Apply two full coats for optimal performance. First coat seals, second protects.
