ProXL UltraEtch Primer is a high-performance epoxy etch primer aerosol designed to deliver exceptional adhesion and corrosion resistance on difficult and non-ferrous surfaces.
Perfect for use on aluminium, galvanised steel, bare steel, fibreglass and zinc coated surfaces, this specialist primer chemically etches into the substrate to create a strong foundation for subsequent coatings.

Surface Preparation
- Remove all rust and loose contamination from surfaces
- Thoroughly degrease using a suitable panel wipe or degreaser
- Abrade smooth surfaces before application
- Ensure substrate is clean, dry and dust free
- Carry out a test spray before full application
Correct preparation is essential for maximum adhesion and long-term performance.

Directions for use
- Shake aerosol thoroughly for at least 2 minutes after agitator ball is free
- Apply from approximately 250mm away
- Apply using light cross coats
- Apply 1–2 coats as required
- Allow 5–10 minutes flash off between coats
- Dry to sand in approximately 30 minutes at 20°C
- Sand with P400–P500 if required
- After use, turn can upside down and clear valve
Do not apply in damp, cold or poorly ventilated conditions.

Parcel Shipments
All international parcel deliveries are handled by FedEx International. Shipping times and costs vary depending on destination, parcel size, and service availability.
Pallet Shipments (Including Dangerous Goods)
For palletised orders — including those containing dangerous goods - we work with independent specialist freight companies experienced in compliant global hazardous materials transport.
Due to the nature of these shipments, pricing and transit times are provided on a case‑by‑case basis.
Requesting an International Delivery Quote
If you would like to place an international order, simply get in touch and we will prepare a personalised shipping quote. Please provide the following details:
- Your full name
- Delivery address (including country and any required customs information)
- Details of the items you would like to order
- Quantities for each item
Once we have this information, we’ll handle the rest - from calculating the most suitable shipping method to arranging safe and compliant delivery to your destination.
🛠️ Specialist Products & Pallet Deliveries
Some coatings are made to order, particularly from premium brands like Sigma/PPG. These orders:
