Thermoguard Thermocoat WI – Water-Based Intumescent Coating for Structural Steel
Thermoguard Thermocoat WI is a water-based intumescent paint system that provides up to 90 minutes of fire resistance for structural steel and cast iron. Designed for Universal Beams, Columns, and open section steelwork, it offers high performance with a minimum number of coats, combining excellent fire protection with a smooth decorative finish when overcoated with Thermoguard Flame Retardant Topcoat.

This low-odour, environmentally friendly coating is ideal for interior structural applications where safety, performance, and appearance are key. It is fully compliant with 2010 VOC regulations and suitable for use in occupied buildings. For steel exposed to exterior conditions, Thermoguard Thermocoat S is recommended.
