KEIM Innostar is an ultra-covering, highly yielding sol-silicate interior paint manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 13 300 (also complies with DIN 18 363, 2.4.1, silicate emulsion paint).
KEIM Innostar has excellent covering capacity in combination with an outstandingly elegant white colour shade. It is suitable for all common interior wall and ceiling surfaces. KEIM Innostar can be used for new or previously painted surfaces in residential or commercial spaces such as department stores, offices, schools or public authorities. KEIM Innostar has outstanding opacity so that one coat is mostly sufficient.
KEIM Innostar is suitable for all common interior substrates except for surfaces with salt efflorescences, varnishings or wood.

Preparations & Application
Substrate Preparation
The substrate must be sound, solid, dry, clean and free from dust and grease. No pretreatment is required for gypsum fillers. Optimisation of the surface homogeneity of the subsequent coats, especially under difficult lighting conditions, can be achieved by pre-treatment with KEIM Granital-Dilution. In case of glancing light conditions, ensure adequate substrate preparation, suitable tools and increased care during application.
Application Conditions
Ambient and substrate temperature during application and drying must be ≥ 5 °C.
Preparation of Materials
Stir up KEIM Innostar thoroughly before application. CONSUMPTION: approx. 125 mL/m² for a single coating. These material consumption values are guide values for smooth substrates. Exact consumption values must be determined by means of test areas.
Application
KEIM Innostar can be brushed, rolled or sprayed (nozzle ≥ 421 ). Primer coat (if necessary): Apply KEIM Innostar undiluted or diluted with ≤ 5 % of water. Final coat: Apply KEIM Innostar undiluted.
Drying Time
Can be overcoated after 6 hours at the earliest (at 23°C and 50% RH). At higher relative humidity, layer thicknesses and/or lower temperatures, drying is delayed accordingly.
