Zinsser Peel Stop is a high-performance, flexible binding primer designed to stabilise peeling, chalking and cracking surfaces. Its clear, water-based formula penetrates deep into problematic paint layers, sealing loose edges and binding chalky residues to create a stable, long-lasting base for topcoats.
Unlike standard primers, Peel Stop flexes with the surface, helping to bridge small cracks and crazing, preventing further deterioration. This makes it ideal for weathered exterior surfaces, aged interior walls and previously painted areas that require reinforcement.
Key Benefits
✅ Seals cracked & peeling surfaces – Stops further deterioration
✅ Binds chalky & porous substrates – Strengthens weak surfaces before painting
✅ Flexible formula – Prevents topcoat cracking on crazed surfaces
✅ Water-based & low odour – Easy to apply & clean up
✅ Interior & exterior use – Works on walls, wood, masonry and more
