ProXL Zinc Rich Primer is a high-performance anti-corrosive aerosol primer designed to provide long-lasting protection to bare and galvanised steel surfaces.
Containing an impressive 90% pure zinc content in the dry film, this specialist primer delivers exceptional cathodic protection, helping prevent corrosion in harsh industrial and high-humidity environments.
Ideal for touch-up repairs on galvanised steel, fabricated metalwork and exposed bare steel, the coating closely matches the appearance of traditional galvanising while offering excellent adhesion and durability.

Surface Preparation
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from contamination
- Remove all loose rust, dirt, grease and oxidation
- Lightly abrade smooth surfaces before application
- Degrease thoroughly using a suitable solvent cleaner
- Existing coatings should be sound and well adhered
Proper preparation is essential to maximise adhesion and corrosion resistance.

Directions for Use
- Shake aerosol thoroughly for at least 2 minutes once agitator ball is free
- Continue shaking periodically during application
- Hold can approximately 25cm from the surface
- Apply several light coats rather than one heavy coat
- Allow 5–10 minutes flash off between coats
- Allow coating to dry before overcoating if required
- Can be top coated with suitable industrial finishes such as ProXL Industrial RAL colours
- After use, turn aerosol upside down and clear the valve for 2–3 seconds
Avoid application in damp, cold or poorly ventilated conditions.

Parcel Shipments
All international parcel deliveries are handled by FedEx International. Shipping times and costs vary depending on destination, parcel size, and service availability.
Pallet Shipments (Including Dangerous Goods)
For palletised orders — including those containing dangerous goods - we work with independent specialist freight companies experienced in compliant global hazardous materials transport.
Due to the nature of these shipments, pricing and transit times are provided on a case‑by‑case basis.
Requesting an International Delivery Quote
If you would like to place an international order, simply get in touch and we will prepare a personalised shipping quote. Please provide the following details:

- Delivery address (including country and any required customs information)
- Details of the items you would like to order
- Quantities for each item

Some coatings are made to order, particularly from premium brands like Sigma/PPG. These orders:
