Zinsser Write-On Paint® is a two-pack white coating that transforms interior walls into fully functional dry wipe surfaces. Designed for professional environments, it’s ideal for turning ordinary plasterboard, wood, cement or metal walls into creative spaces for brainstorming, teaching or planning.
Perfect for schools, offices and universities, this kit provides everything you need for a single-coat application that covers up to 30m². Once cured, it’s tough, durable and compatible with most standard dry wipe markers and cleaners – making it a long-lasting alternative to traditional whiteboards.

Surface Preparation

Ensure surfaces are clean, sound, dry and free from dust, grease and contaminants.

Glossy surfaces should be lightly abraded to improve adhesion.

For new or matt surfaces, first prime with a white, water-based primer such as Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3.

For best results, apply over vinyl, silk or acrylic eggshell topcoats.

Fill and sand cracks or imperfections before painting.

Directions for Use

Mix base coat and activator thoroughly before application.
-
Stir continuously to ensure even blending of the two components.
-
Apply one even coat using the supplied microfibre roller.

Maintain a wet edge and work systematically to avoid streaking.

Allow 4 hours to dry, then leave for 5 days before writing on the surface.

Use only standard dry wipe markers and cleaners (test compatibility first).

Clean tools immediately with warm, soapy water.
-
Store between 5°C and 25°C. Protect from frost.
