Teamac Marine Gloss is a premium quality, high-gloss marine topcoat formulated with a modified long oil alkyd for exceptional durability and finish. Designed to withstand the demanding conditions of marine environments, it provides outstanding protection against saltwater, UV exposure and changing weather conditions.
Ideal for use on bridge fronts, decks, masts and superstructures, this versatile topcoat delivers excellent opacity, colour retention and a smooth, mirror-like gloss finish.
Teamac Marine Gloss is suitable for steel, aluminium, wood and GRP, making it a reliable option for professional marine projects and boat restoration. It can be applied using a brush, roller or spray and is available in a wide range of colours with RAL and BS options to order.
Surface Preparation
To ensure best results:
-
Surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from contaminants such as grease, salt, or loose material.
 -
Previously painted surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and lightly sanded to create a key for adhesion.
 -
Bare metal or wood should be primed with Teamac Marine Undercoat before application.
 -
Remove any flaking or unsound paint and treat bare areas as new substrates.

Always apply in dry conditions, avoiding application when the surface is below dew point temperature. Adequate ventilation should be provided in enclosed areas.
