Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Plus is a high-performance water-based primer that delivers the strength of a solvent-based coating with the convenience of a fast-drying, low-odour formula. Engineered for professional and commercial use, it provides exceptional adhesion, stain blocking and durability on both interior and exterior surfaces.
Designed to bond to glossy, difficult surfaces without sanding, this primer is ideal for wood, metal, plaster, PVC, ceramic tiles and more. Its high-hiding formula effectively blocks water stains, tannin bleed and smoke damage, ensuring a flawless base for topcoats.
Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Plus is also mould and mildew resistant, making it perfect for bathrooms, kitchens and high-humidity areas. The built-in biocide helps prevent fungal degradation, extending the life of your paintwork.

Surface Preparation

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, mould, mildew and contaminants.

Remove all loose or flaking material.

Glossy surfaces should be lightly abraded to improve adhesion.

Remove stains at the source where possible, e.g. fix water ingress before sealing water stains.

Fill cracks and defects with a suitable filler and sand smooth.

Directions for Use

Stir thoroughly before and during use.

Apply evenly with a synthetic brush, roller, pad or spray equipment (airless compatible).

Apply one to two coats depending on substrate porosity and stain severity.

Allow at least 1 hour before recoating.

Finish with any water-based or solvent-based decorative topcoat.

Clean all tools immediately in warm, soapy water.

Store upright in a dry, frost-free environment between 5°C and 30°C
