Watco Concrex Deep Fill is a heavy-duty epoxy concrete repair mortar for deep holes, damaged floor edges and eroded concrete in busy working areas. The two-part formulation combines epoxy resin with sand and granite aggregate, providing an economical way to rebuild deeper sections of concrete before returning the area to use.

Designed for repairs between 15mm and 100mm deep in a single layer, Concrex Deep Fill is suitable for internal and external maintenance. Use it to fill holes in concrete floors, make up uneven floor levels, form ramps and repair damaged sections around steps or floor joints. It is particularly useful where a shallow repair compound would need several applications to build up the required depth.

The granite-reinforced mortar can be left exposed as a coarse-textured wearing surface. Where a smoother finish is required, leave the repair 5mm below the surrounding floor and finish with Watco Concrex Carbon Fibre. This makes Deep Fill a practical base layer for larger, deeper repairs while reserving the finishing mortar for the surface.

  • Deep concrete floor repairs: fill substantial holes and rebuild worn or uneven areas.
  • Heavy traffic applications: an epoxy mortar designed for demanding repair work.
  • Indoor and outdoor use: suitable for concrete, sand and cement, and prepared metal.
  • Flexible finishing options: use as a wearing surface or beneath a smoother Concrex layer.

Surface Preparation

Remove loose and crumbling material so that the repair can bond to a sound surface. Sweep or wire-brush the area and remove oil and grease with a suitable degreaser. Start with clean, dry concrete; prime smooth or damp areas with Watco Tack Coat.

Product FAQs

How deep can I apply Concrex Deep Fill?
Apply 15–100mm in one layer. For deeper repairs, build up layers with five hours between applications.

What area does a pack repair?
A 25kg pack covers approximately 0.5m² at 30mm depth. Coverage reduces as repair depth increases.

Do I need Tack Coat?
Use Tack Coat on smooth or damp substrates. Ordinary repairs to rough, dry concrete do not usually need primer.

Can it give a smooth finish?
Deep Fill leaves a coarse wearing surface. For a smoother finish, stop 5mm below floor level and overlay with Concrex Carbon Fibre.
