Blackfriar Teak Oil – Protects & Revives Hardwood and Teak Furniture

Blackfriar Teak Oil nourishes and protects wood, especially hardwoods, teak, and Scandinavian furniture, restoring natural beauty and enhancing durability. Ideal for both interior and exterior use, it prevents greying, reduces surface splitting, and protects timber from weathering.

The solvent-based formula penetrates deeply into the wood, feeding and strengthening it while providing a long-lasting, natural finish that enhances the grain and appearance of your furniture.

Key Features:

  • Protects Against Weathering & Greying – Keeps wood looking vibrant

  • Nourishes & Feeds Wood – Maintains health and longevity

  • Reduces Surface Splitting – Prevents cracks and damage

  • Interior & Exterior Use – Suitable for furniture, decking, and joinery

  • Solvent-Based Formula – Deep penetration and long-lasting protection

Surface Preparation

Ensure surface to be oiled is smooth, clean, dry and free of contamination. For surfaces previously
treated with oils or waxes clean back the surface to bare timber with fine wire wool and white spirit, working along the grain. Previously painted or varnished surfaces should be stripped back to bare using Blackfriar Professional Paint and Varnish Remover. Any French polish on surfaces must also be completely removed.
