Safewalls Drywall Plaster Primer is a specialist water-based primer designed to seal bare drywall and unsealed plaster ahead of fire protection systems. It ensures a sound, clean base for Thermoguard Safewalls and Wallcoat systems, helping achieve BS EN Class B and legacy Class O fire ratings. Ideal for educational, healthcare, commercial and residential environments where fire safety is critical.
With over 1,400 shades available from RAL, BS, NCS and the Thermoguard Select range (with Light Reflectance Values), it supports colour-contrast planning under the Equality Act 2010.
Surface Preparation

Ensure surfaces are dry, clean and well adhered.

Good ventilation is essential.

Avoid applying if condensation is likely during drying.

Do not apply below 8°C or above 30°C. Surface temperature must be 3°C above dew point.

Directions for Use

Application Tools: Short-pile roller or synthetic brush. For spray: Airless (e.g. Graco 1500/3500) or conventional pressure pot system. Thin with 5% water for spray.

Coats Required: 1 full coat

Cleaning: Clean tools immediately with water. Avoid letting product dry on equipment.

Storage: Store between 5°C and 30°C in a dry, secure space. Do not allow to freeze

We are pleased to offer worldwide delivery on both parcel and pallet orders.
Parcel Shipments
All international parcel deliveries are handled by FedEx International. Shipping times and costs vary depending on destination, parcel size, and service availability.
Pallet Shipments (Including Dangerous Goods)
For palletised orders — including those containing dangerous goods - we work with independent specialist freight companies experienced in compliant global hazardous materials transport.
Due to the nature of these shipments, pricing and transit times are provided on a case‑by‑case basis.
Requesting an International Delivery Quote
If you would like to place an international order, simply get in touch and we will prepare a personalised shipping quote. Please provide the following details:
- Your full name
- Delivery address (including country and any required customs information)
- Details of the items you would like to order
- Quantities for each item
Once we have this information, we’ll handle the rest - from calculating the most suitable shipping method to arranging safe and compliant delivery to your destination.
🛠️ Specialist Products & Pallet Deliveries
Some coatings are made to order, particularly from premium brands like Sigma/PPG. These orders:
