- Structural strength solutions
Watco Concrex Cold Set Deep Fill is a heavy-duty epoxy concrete repair mortar for deeper holes when temperatures are too low for a standard repair grade. Its cold-setting formulation allows essential floor maintenance in conditions down to 0°C, helping you plan repairs through winter and in colder working areas.
The larger aggregate and lower resin content make this a practical base material for deep repairs. Apply from 15mm to 100mm in one layer to rebuild damaged concrete, make up uneven areas or repair sections around floor joints and steps. The mortar is trowelled firmly into position, so you can compact it against the prepared edges rather than relying on a flowing filler.
Cold Set Deep Fill is suitable for internal and external repairs to concrete, sand and cement, and prepared metal. Its grey finish has a coarser texture than standard Concrex Cold Set. For a smoother surface, the technical sheet recommends using the deep-fill grade as a base and leaving space for a 5mm finishing layer of Concrex Cold Set.
Choose this version for cold conditions between 0°C and 10°C. For warmer applications, compare Concrex Deep Fill; for a faster return to use in suitable temperatures, see Concrex Deep Fill Rapid. Select the grade around the temperature of the repair area and the time available before traffic returns.
Surface Preparation
Remove loose concrete, oil and grease. Start with a clean, dry and sound surface. Where the surface is damp or additional adhesion is needed, follow the technical sheet and use Tack Coat Sub Zero.

Directions for Use
Shake the curing agent and place the pre-blended aggregate/resin on a board or mixing tray. Do not mix inside the plastic bucket. Add the curing agent and mix thoroughly to an even grey consistency. Trowel firmly into the prepared repair and finish with a float. Wipe the tool with white spirit to reduce drag.
Limitations
Do not apply below 0°C or to wet surfaces. Do not feather-edge this deep-fill grade or exceed 100mm in one layer. Avoid service temperatures above 60°C. Store frost-free at 10–30°C. Read the technical and safety sheets before use.
